I am a Vancouver, BC-based photographer and photojournalist who has had the opportunity to travel to some of the world’s great destinations and cities, though not always getting to see much of these places I have a stack of airline boarding passes to remind me that I’ve been to New York, London, Rome, Amsterdam, Amman, Dubai and Cairo. Though I’ve also traveled to some lesser known destinations including Fort Morgan, Colorado, Florida City, Florida, Bremen, Georgia, Percival, Iowa, Gretna, Nebraska, Las Vegas, New Mexico, New Braunfels, Texas among dozens of other small towns across the US. And in turn has been inside some of the world’s best hotels and some of America’s worst.

Since returning to Photography early in 2011 after an extended break I have been fortunate to work with a tremendous variety of clients covering Sports & Events, Product, Food and Editorial photography. Some of these clients include interior design house & home staging company Fluff, Vancouver’s Burgoo Bistro, Brooklyn’s Fort Reno Provisions, The 2011 RBC Whistler GranFondo, The UBC Faculty of Medicine, Crankworx, The Yeti Snowshoe Series, 5 Peaks Trail Running Series, Canada Running Series, Coast Mountain Trail Series and a handful of select wedding and portrait clients. Autumn of 2013 also saw the publication of two cookbooks featuring my photography, Burgoo Bistro’s Food For Comfort and Hana Dethlefsen’s Let’s Cooking: Japanese Cooking at Home Vol. 1.

I’ve missed a photo op with the president of Kazakhstan in a Thai restaurant in Egypt, witnessed a bachelorette party in Seattle, got taken for a cab ride by an Iraqi driver in Jordan and been the recipient of a random act of kindness in Athens. These are the experiences of a photographer looking for the next great portfolio piece or the next great story to tell over beers. Thanks for the visit.
